1. Pinch Kitchen
This is probably the most eclectic or all North Miami restaurants. It serves “New American cuisine” along with craft beer and fine wines. Their sharing menu features small plates served as they’re ready. They also offer full-sized meals including seafood, steak and sandwiches.

2. Blue Collar
This North Miami restaurant is a casual, award-winning eatery offering a modern take on comfort food. Think jalapeno cornbread and duck confit quesadillas. Served in a relaxed atmosphere with outdoor seating available.

3. Little Havana Restaurant
Family-owned eatery with a large menu filled with traditional Cuban fare. The décor could use updating, but the food hits the spot. Daily specials include dishes like plantain soup, ropa vieja and picadillo.

4. Mandolin Aegean Bistro
Inspired by Aegean coastal tavernas, Mandolin offers refined Greek and Turkish cuisine. The focus is on fresh, healthy ingredients, many of which are grown in this North Miami restaurant’s edible garden. The Mediterranean dishes are served in a 1930s-era house with outdoor seating.

5. House of Food Porn
Serves up “Shushi,” classic Cuban dishes rolled into maki sushi. Created by chef Francisco Antonio Blanco after his Cuban mother refused to try traditional Japanese sushi. Reservation only.
